π²π½ Molecular Imaging Center Project in Guadalajara, Mexico: Moving from Planning to Reality ποΈβ¨
2026-08-21
In Guadalajara, the second-largest city in Mexico, a new molecular imaging center is steadily taking shape π
The project is designed to establish a modern PET/CT imaging platform π₯ and will be equipped with a Jiuyiyuan (LBT) LB-11MTS medical cyclotron system βοΈ, enabling local production capabilities for positron-emitting radiopharmaceuticals.
By integrating a complete radiopharmaceutical production platform π§ͺ, the center will enhance regional PET imaging capacity, improve radiopharmaceutical availability, and support future molecular imaging applications.
Throughout the project, the LBT team has worked closely with local partners π€ to optimize the facility layout, radiation shielding design, and equipment configuration according to local requirements and practical operating conditions.
The construction has now reached an important milestone, with the facility approaching completion πποΈ
The LB-11MTS cyclotron system and related equipment are progressing as planned βοΈ. The project will move forward into installation and commissioning, bringing the center closer to operation π
From project planning π and engineering design ποΈ to equipment delivery βοΈ and clinical application support π₯, LBT is committed to supporting the development of modern molecular imaging centers worldwide π.
